The 2009 Kiwanis CarFest was held June 20th on the town square in beautiful McLeansboro, Il and it certainly was a sight to behold as row after row of awesome classic cars were on display giving a glimpse back in time to when cars symbolized everything great about America. Also present to lend a hand to the festivities were the sensational Van-Dells giving another great show for their fans in our area. This was a repeat performance for this great group of singers and merry pranksters as many may remember their raucous performance at the McLeansboro Fall Festival last year. At that concert Casey Todd, son of Stacy “Duke” Todd filled in for Paducah’s own Mark Barnett who was recovering from a leg injury. This time around Casey was back on drums and Mark was back in fine form singing and keeping the jokes coming and the show rolling along.  Joining Mark and Duke was the third Van-Dell, Glenn Bowles, who did a great tribute to Neil Diamond.  It was a real treat seeing this talented group again. Thanks to the Kiwanis for bringing them back to our town.

Below are some video clips of The Van-Dells performing. Enjoy!
